APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Printer & Ink Compatibility:
GFPOLY may be printed in most solvent ink jet and mild solvent printing systems such as: Mimaki JV3, Mutoh Toucan, Seiko, Vutek, Scitex, Nur, Roland Versa Camm etc.

Printer Settings:
Optimized print settings will vary from printer manufacturers. Recommended ink saturation level is 320% at 720 x 720 dpi. It is suggested that static reduction tinsel be used to minimize static electricity. Recommended heater settings: pre heat 50°C and post heat 42°C. These settings have been found to be a good starting point. THe use of external heaters or fans will help dry the media faster.

Outdoor/Indoor Use:
This product is recommended for indoor and outdoor applications. If desired GFPOLY may be over-laminated with most cold laminates and low temperature hot laminating materials. Cold pressure sensitive adhesives typically provide the most aggressive bonds and are recommended.

Material Handling & Storage:
Once print is complete, roll imaged media onto a core until ready for posting. Folding of the material is not recommended. After use, the roll should be stored at 72°F (+/-5° ) and in its original packaging in the poly bag with core plugs for no more than 1 year.

FINISHING RECOMMENDATIONS
Laminating:
Magic's DMFTP Fluorex Transfer Protection, ultra-thin (3 micron) graffiti-resistant overlaminate, is an ideal finishing solution for banner materials. A vinyl pressure-sensitive overlaminate or an acrylic liquid overcoat may also be used. However, overlaminating one side may cause the product to curl towards the laminated side.

Mounting:
Cold pressure sensitive adhesives typically provide the most aggressive bonds and are recommended.
