TYPICAL USES:

Long term outdoor, advertising or promotion on flat or curved surfaces.

Product benefits : dry application at it's best!
A patented performance feature enabling the Applicator of the printed decal to apply much faster and to limit the risks of wrinkles and entrapped air bubbles generally associated with the application of large format decals. BF series therefore save time by increasing productivity during the application job. The micro-structured repositionable adhesive system allows the installer to remove and re-apply the decals during the job. It is possible to press out small entrapped air bubbles with ease!

As a result : A great looking job!

PRINTING

Especially designed for solvent based & UV inkjet printing on wide-format printing equipment. To achieve the best possible print quality, please make sure that the correct ICC profiles or printer settings are used.
Important notice: It is CRITICAL that any digital prints are TOTALLY DRY before application. While this is important for all films in the JT 5000 range it is even more important for the special tack system of JT 5929 BF. If the film is not dried sufficiently the vinyl and adhesive will still be full of solvents which change the properties and consequently the behaviour of the film. The customer will therefore not benefit from the bubble free effect enough to reduce application time. It can also cause adhesive residue to be left behind and lack of repositionnability. This is also important when laminating the printed decal.

SHELF LIFE:

2 years when stored at 15/25°C and 50% relative humidity (in the original packaging).

DURABILITY:

The outdoor durability of the unprinted film is 7 years. Overlamination of the inkjet printed material delays eventual colour fading that may occur upon time. This colour fading is dependent from the quality of the inkjet inks and the self-adhesive materials being used.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

Always test your combination of JT5000 products, inks and laminating films prior to commercial use.

GENERAL REMARK: factors affecting adhesion

To ensure application suitability - always test the proposed construction under actual application and end-use conditions before going into full production. The following factors will adversely affect adhesion of a pressure-sensitive adhesive:
