for full-colour short-run digital printing.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Face material : An ultra clear gloss, soft 50 μ cast PVC.
Adhesive : Ultra clear, acrylic based permanent, pressure-sensitive.
Liner : The product is protected with a clear PET liner, easy to remove.

TYPICAL USES

LF 3697 is designed for the overlaminating and protecting of large and medium size digital images printed on super soft, flexible media. LF 3697 laminated onto JT 5529 P, conformable white PVC, can be used for the decoration of flat, curved, riveted or corrugated surfaces. It is therefore designed for the total coverage of fleet decoration (cars, trucks, caravans...). Suitable for internal and external applications, LF 3697 helps retard colour fading caused by U.V. light exposure.

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE:

Resistant to short periods of immersion in water and short contact with detergents, alcohol and some aliphatic solvents. Not recommended for use in contact with ketones, esters, aromatic solvents and chlorinated hydrocarbons.

SHELF LIFE:

2 years when stored at 15 to 25°C and ± 50 % relative humidity (in the original packaging).

DURABILITY:

LF 3697 will give satisfactory performance for up to 5 years. The durability does not relate to the colours of the prints but only to the film.
Note : These end-use-life estimates are based on accelerated ageing studies and outdoor exposure, under conditions experienced in vertical exposure and in ″normal″ temperate climates. Exposure to severe humidity and ultraviolet light, as in southern European countries, and also in tropical, sub-tropical or desert regions, will cause a more rapid deterioration. This also applies to polluted areas, high altitude and south-facing exposure.
