magic
MAGIC® MUG-7 and MUL-7 are respectively, high gloss and low glare, photobase papers with a coating that is universally compatible with most dye based thermal ink jet printers. MUG-7 (Magic Universal Glossy 7 mil) and MUL-7 (Magic Universal Lustre 7 mil) papers are the perfect choice for high quality photo finish images printed on most Hewlett-Packard, Encad and ColorSpan printers. APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Printing:
The material is wound image side out. Ink coverage of up to 300% is recommended. To optimize print quality, printers should be set for highest print quality and media selection should be ″Photopaper″. Heavy ink coverage may take longer to dry.

Flammability:
The material is not ASTM Rated - Not flame retardant.

Printer & Ink Compatibility:
Material should only be printed with dye based inks. The recommended printing devices for these materials are ColorSpans, Encad NovaJets and Hewlett-Packard DesignJet 650, 750 and the 1000, 2000 and 3000 series printers. Due to the pigmented black ink in the HP 650, 700 and 1000 series printers, the black ink may remain slightly tacky or smear when rubbed.

Material Handling & Storage:
To protect unused material, it is recommended to store material in its original packaging, in the poly bag at 72°F (+/-5°).

FINISHING RECOMMENDATIONS
Laminating:
To give added surface protection from dirt and abrasion, a pressure-sensitive overlaminate or heat-activated laminate is recommended. Overlaminating one side may cause the product to curl toward the laminated side. When encapsulating the material with an overlaminate, use minimal tensions to prevent curl or paper stress. An overlaminate safe edge of 1/8″ is recommended to seal the paper from environmental effects or laminate stresses due to the dimensional stability of the materials or tensions.
