TYPICAL USES:
- External applications: Window graphics onto flat gloss surfaces showing advertising on one side and allowing for ″see through″ view on the other side. JT5915P can also be used in conjuntion with opaque marking films for vehicle and public transport advertising. Application is not guaranteed when heaters on rear windscreens are in operation (as this may cause JT5915P to lift).
The use of the rear wipers is also not recommended (as the wiping effect on the print or the overlaminate may cause the JT 5915 P/F or the overlaminate to become hazy and lose its ″see through″ characteristics).
To make full use of the advertising opportunity it is recommended that the inside lighting of the vehicle is less brighter than the external lighting. This is more applicable at night when outside illumination is weak.
JT 5915 P/F can be used to reduce heat and glare from the sun inside vehicles and glass buildings. - Internal applications: Thanks to one way visibility, JT5915P/F can be used for surveillance purposes in shops, department stores, stocks etc.
PRINTING:
Designed for solvent based inkjet printing on most wide-format printing equipment.JT 5915 P/F are also e-stat and screen printable.
SHELF LIFE:
1 year when stored at 15/25°C and 50% relative humidity (in the original packaging).DURABILITY:
JT 5915 P/F is a 2 year film. However, the actual durability of the printed graphics is dependent on the inks and the overlaminates used. Some adverse reactions can occur when applying JT 5915 P/F to certain substrates, such as acrylics, polycarbonate, polystyrene, plasticized PVC or certain paints. These reactions could have a negative effect on the adhesion performance. These use-life estimates are based upon accelerated ageing studies and outdoor exposure, under conditions experienced in vertical exposure and in « normal » temperate climates.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Always test your combination of JT5000 products, inks and laminating films prior to commercial use.- Laminating conditions:
Please ensure the print is perfectly dry. The printed material should be left to dry for at least 48 hours prior to lamination or transport.
If the printed graphics is likely to be exposed to corrosive liquids, smoke, fumes, highly polluted areas or if there is a likelihood of scratching or friction or to ensure longer durability, it is strongly recommended to laminate the prints with pressure-sensitive optical clear protective films IMAGin LF 3697 (highly conformable) or PG 7036 (for flat surfaces only).
For vehicle graphics it is recommended to use a 1cm overlap of the lamination film versus the JT5915P/F film or to seal off all sides of the window graphics with a clear silicone to avoid water infiltration. - Transportation Conditions:
To allow easy transportation, IMAGin JT series can be rolled up, with the image on the outside, with a minimum diameter of 15 cm (for example on a 6″ core). When the image is not protected with a laminating film, make sure that the print is perfectly dry before rolling it over. To avoid exposing the print to any liquid aggressions, prints should be protected by a plastic bag. During the transport or storage of the prints, avoid exposing them to extreme temperature and humidity variations. - Application:
The ″dry″ method is recommended. The ″wet″ application method is not recommended due to the fact that the moisture will become trapped between the perforations and the overlaminate therefore affecting the ″see through″ visibility.
